A brinjal on the road

A brinjal on the road,
Oh, a brinjal on the road .
I've seen a brinjal on the road
And it's really on the road

Walking along the hard, tarred ground,
Looking for food around,
I spotted something purple,
And nope, it's not a turtle,
It's a brinjal on the road~~~

What an odd place to be, I'd say,
But then again, that would be nay,
A vegetable on the ground,
Wouldn't be as odd as it sounds.

A brinjal on the road,
Oh, I saw a brinjal on the road
A brinjal on the road
I've seen a brinjal on the road.

- okay, it's just me getting inspired by a brinjal I saw on the road the other day :P-

Of the Q and my Mission

I recall how I started work in Mission-Q in January. Haha, I must say I was pretty scared about working in an environment where I didn't really know anyone there. Plus, my boyfriend was working elsewhere and wasn't accepted here.

I remembered how Joel introduced himself and so did Yi Xuan- and I was pretty surprised I was the only new girl...so I had to keep up. I recall having to play Day and Night with the two guys and how we didn't manage to finish the room until like...a few weeks after haha. And I remember how that on my first day there, a man wanted to propose to his girlfriend an coincidently on my last day, they were having a birthday surprise.

I've learnt shtuff from here (like using number and word locks which I seriously had no idea how to before this. @^@) and met all kinda of people xD.

Playing all the rooms here and learning how to reset them and dealing with customers opened me up abit more than I was before and I come to face what people at the front desk would face: customers. All kinds, I would say :P.

Bringing my friends here and seeing how they enjoy the rooms was also something enjoyable to see, because they are able to feel the fun that I had when I tried out the rooms for myself (although I had like 2x the amount of time they had lol). And everytime I look at the Polaroids they leave behind on the wall, I would just smile to myself.

It's a pleasant place with pleasant people to work with and every customer that walks in, is something I look forward to everyday in work. :3

I really hope they're doing well because I hope the best for them and really, if anyone is up for a challenge, and maybe looking for a cheaper alternative from Escape Room, try this out. We maybe unable to guarantee the fun if you've been to Escape Room or any other place with the similar concept, but I can say tht it can be worth your money. XD xD

Or maybe am just biased coz I've worked there 😜😜😜😜

Little Fairy (Drawing)

Something I drew a few months back hahaha xD

Still can't seem to be able to colour though :X

Of Kitty Cats and Coffee

So, I found out that there was this cat cafe open in Subang SS15 (Where am currently staying)

Coffee Cottage
It's known as COFFEE COTTAGE and generally, it's the first cat cafe in Subang, or at least the first that I know of.

So, me and my friends decided to give it a try for our gathering. XD

The pictures below are the cats that you can find there. I kinda forgot their names but I remembered one of them was called Alvin xD

Basically, in the cafe, you have a room separated by glass where they keep the cats. Before entering the room, customers are required to sanitize their hands so that the cats can remain germ free (apparently).

(The pictures are all taken using my iPhone ^^)
There are teasers and toys that you can use to play with the cats but customers are advised not to carry and cuddle the cat unless they are the ones that jump onto you.

One thing I have to comment is that the cats get pretty bored of the attention you give them. The cats are cute though xD. Once you order your drinks and food from the counter, the waiter will ask you if you would like to have your drinks taken into the room where you can have a cup of coffee while playing with the cats.

The Menu

Here's the address to the place:

1-1, Jalan SS15/8A, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

And the facebook link is over here:

Do take a look and check it out. Their menu may not be much but the cats make things very different for this cafe as compared to other cafes. ^^

Names, names, names~

Came across this article recently and decided to share it on mah blogggie~~

My name's Elle, and well, often I would come across people asking for my name. And somehow, everytime I say 'Elle', it somehow turns out to be something weird which does not sound like Elle at all.

Did I say it too soft, or...what?
Can't really brain this @@
My name just sounds like a simple alphabet: 'L'

Adding on, when people try to pronounce my name after reading it:

"Er...your name....El..lie? Ellie?"
Or like
"Elleh?"

*facepalms*

Should've chosen something like Ann, that sounds more like the alphabet: 'N'.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/erinlarosa/the-15-most-annoying-parts-of-having-a-unique-name
Here's the link of the article.
Seriously, I don't think my name's unique @@ It's basically the short form of the name Helen and somehow people do get it wrong T.T

I have a friend whose name is Kikyo, and people pronounce it better than mine Q^Q.
Coz either way, you either pronounce is Kik-yo or Ki-kyo; which sounds pretty much correct either way T^T.

In that article, I especially have to agree with 4, 8, 9 and 15 ahahaha xD

It's pronounced like the alphabet L~~~~ ELLE~~~~~

It's a damn palindrome name RAWR.

Ever had that problem, people? XD

OKAY, ELLE OUT

Of Nesting with the Dragon

A few weeks back, my boyfriend introduced me to this new game called 'Dragon Nest'
Basically, it's a MMORPG game developed my Eyedentity Games, a South Korean online game developer in 2010. Unlike games like World of Warcraft and Ragnarok Online, Dragon Nest focuses more on a non-target combat system - Which actually means, you control where your character hits, instead of what your character hits (No targeting system).

I wasn't initially keen on playing MMORPG games besides WoW and RO, but I guess giving it a try doesn't hurt, since it's free after all.

Am currently playing under the South East Asia server (SEA) so the accounts are generally handled by Cherrycredits.

There are basically 6 classes released in Dragon Nest and they include:

1. Warrior
2. Archer
3. Cleric
4. Sorceress
5. Kali

6. Tinkerer

From left:
Cleric - Tinkerer - Archer - Warrior - Kali - Sorceress

I'll do this review from my character's POV. It's because each character may have a different storyline, but eventually all of them would converge together because it's the same story LAWL.

Anyway, my character is an archer, and I named her: 'Calenya'. ^^ Generally from the archer's POV, the hero's task is to rescue this girl named Rose (or Rosie). You start off in Ironwood Village and generally you will have side quests and of course the main quest line (DUH, any MMORPG game would have this).

In DN (Dragon Nest), you'll get to create guilds, party, go on challenging dungeons at different difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard, Master, Abyss) There are tons of items that can be looted - ranging from Normal, Magic, Rare, Epic, Unique and Legendary.

The Kali Class

The currency used will be the basic Gold, Silver and Copper, and these can be used to form Heraldry, a form of enhancement that you can equip to increase stats as well as improve your skills. Besides, your equipment can be enhanced, as any MMORPG games allow their players to do and you are also able to craft new special Epic class equipments.

From the basic classes listed above, each class will be capable of  advancing to a higher class at level 15 and will be required to chose from 2 choices:

The below diagram lists out the choices that each class may take:

In my case, I took an archer and I have a choice of advancing to be either a Sharpshooter (Bow Master) or an Acrobat. I chose Acrobat, which is more specialised in close ranged combat as compared to her long range counterpart, the Bowmaster. As an Acrobat, when I advance further up to Level 45, I have to choose between a Tempest or a Windwalker.

In order to summarise the chart, basically the player will start with a base class, (i.e. Warrior) and from there advance to the First class - (1-1: Swordsman, 1-2: Mercenary) at level 15 and then later to the Second class - (2-1-1: Gladiator, 2-1-2: Lunar Knight a.k.a Moonlord, 2-2-1: Barbarian, 2-2-2: Destroyer) at level 45.
Okay, that confused me a little @@

Archer Class

aowignaoignawoignaoignaiongawi

*ignore that gibberish part for abit*

Carrying on,

Dragon Nest overall is not bad of a game, with pleasant graphics and rather flashy set of skills for every class. Dungeon-ing with friends proved to be very much of a fun experience and players who are up for a bigger challenge can try Nesting, which is a term used when the player/party wishes to challenge a very much harder set of monsters. (WARNING: NESTING IS DEFINITELY A NO-GO FOR SOLO PLAY)

'tis essential for a priest to be around XD

The Black Knight

Besides Nesting and Dungeon-ing, there is also PvP (Player-vs-Player) and there is where players get to test their skills against other players. Each class's skills will have 2 different statistics whereby one is for PvE (Player-vs-Enemy) and the other for PvP. So before entering PvP, players do have to bear in mind the difference in stats for each skill. ^^

Rose

The main storyline is not bad, I would say; something about a black knight and Rose, who apparently has the power of the ancients and you have to save her before her powers are taken. And you will bump into Argenta, the sorceress with white long hair and wears red clothing. Until now, since I'm hanging out in Calderock Village (for like forever lol), I've yet to progress through the storyline entirely but I have to say that Dragon Nest is definitely interesting and its even better when you have friends tagging along!

Argent

I would give Dragon Nest pretty much...hmm...about 8/10?

GAMEPLAY:8/10
MUSIC:8/10
COMBAT:8.5/10
PLOT:7/10
GRAPHICS:7/10

The cons for this game, IMO would be that the level cap is at Level 70 (if am not wrong with the new patch). It used to be at Level 40 which turned many players away from the game. But with the new level cap, many have returned and the DN community is growing back once again (and I'm one of them!! xD). However, if the community continues to grow and this level cap stays, it might turn them off again (LOL). I mean, look at RO, the max level cap was at 99 and now it's at 150! So, I have that feeling DN might just do the same (ahahahaha), which can be good (I think?).

So for those MMORPG lovers who have not tried this, give it a try! ^^ There are lots of things to experience in this game and I would say it's fun on the long run.

You better run~~~~ Chase em~~ xD
